Wollaston Station Project Scope
• Accessibility
– Constructs new fully accessible path to a center island platform elevated 13 feet above street level.
• Structural Upgrades
– New Platform Slab & New Platform Canopy
• Bridge Access to platform
• New South Stair to Renovated Lobby
• Track Rehabilitation
• Station Electrical Service Upgrade
• Upgraded Utilities

20-Month Station Closure
– Fall 2017 to Summer 2019
– No station boarding or disembarking.
– 423 of 538 spaces remain available for parking.
– Red Line Service continues through station

Red Line Closures
– Weekend Diversions
– Early access, no service after 9PM, M-F.

Red Line Single Track Operations
– Single Track at N. Quincy and Wollaston after 9PM

Mitigation:
Provide a dedicated bus route:
• Wollaston to North Quincy with current headways
• Provide two accessible stops at Wollaston with temporary shelters, lighting & snow removal

• Traffic Management Police Detail at Neponset Circle
