Meeting Called to Order and Acceptance of Agenda

  • Chair Andrew Goodrich called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.

35 Years of Service Recognition

Fire Chief Mark Donovan

  • The Board presented a gift to Fire Chief Mark Donovan, acknowledging his leadership, dedication, and professionalism.

Recognition: Linda Kelley Named Director of the Year

  • The Board honored Linda Kelley for her outstanding work with the Senior Center, expressing gratitude for her grace and leadership.

Report of the Town Administrator

  1. Annual Water Restrictions: Updates will resume in the spring.
  2. Water Treatment Plant (WTP):
    • Completion of sediment basins and site preparation is ongoing.
    • Minor traffic delays on Route 3A expected.
  3. Senior Center Health & Wellness Fair:
    • Date: Friday, October 18
    • Time: 10 AM – 2 PM
    • Details: Over 40 vendors, demonstrations, screenings, and raffles.
  4. Library Booktober Crawl:
    • Runs until November 2; encourages visits to neighboring libraries.
  5. Roadwork Updates:
    • Final paving on Grove Street and Lawson Road scheduled for this week.
  6. Flu Vaccine Clinic:
    • Date: October 22
    • Location: Scituate Senior Center, 333 First Parish Road
    • Appointments required.
  7. Tennis Court Project:
    • Concrete work continues; completion expected this fall.

2015 Refunding Bond and 2024 General Obligation Bond

Emergency Seawall Repair
